Montreal, January 25, 2025 — The Canadian Muslim Forum (CMF-FMC) deeply welcomes the recent declaration by Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante on January 20, 2025, which commemorated the 8th anniversary of the tragic Quebec City Mosque Massacre. In her statement, Mayor Plante reaffirmed the city’s commitment to combat Islamophobia and all forms of hate.
